Natural Way to Straighten Hair at Home

Finally, I am able to solve the problem of my frizzy hair. I always wishes that my hair should looks little straight and shiny, without using any chemical. I tried every alternative month a new mask to straight my hair, but after 2 or 3 days it remain same.  It looks to me that the natural ingredients are not going to work. Then I decide to make a hair mask with all those natural ingredients which can help to straighten hair. 

So, get ready to have shiny, healthy and straight hair at home without using any chemical and spending a huge amount of money from your pocket. Those who love to pamper their hair naturally like me; they will definitely prefer this natural hair straitening method. 

Ingredients you needed 

5 tsp multani mitti (fuller earth)

3 tsp besan

3 tsp honey

Egg white of 2 eggs

1 large ripe banana

2 tsp castor oil

Milk : 1/2 medium-sized bowl

5 drops Essential Oil (optional)

Need some more things like :

Comb: A Parting or "Rat Tail" comb, Bristle Brush and wide tooth comb

Mask applying brush

Some of the hair clips

Hair Straightening Shampoo, Straightening Conditioner

Blow dryer

Hot water and towel

How to make the mask:

Take a ripe banana and honey on blander and mix it till you make a fine paste. Then add other ingredients and again blend for 15 to 20 second.  The mask is ready and it looks very creamy.

The Applying Process:

Step 1

Wash your hair with a Straightening Shampoo.  No need to use any conditioner. There are several good brands of straightening shampoo on the market. You can pick any one of them.

* If you feel that your hairs is too dry then massage your hair with oil before the shampoo. 

Step 2

Let the hair get dry completely. Then take a wide comb and comb your hair down for 3 to 4 times. Again comb hair with bristle brush (which can make hair straight) before you apply the mask.

Step 3

Now with help of parting comb make separate sections in hair and secure each section with hair clip.

Step 4

Now is the time to apply the hair mask. While you apply this hair mask on each section of hair keep your hair as straight as possible. Do not tie the hair. Leave it for two hours.

Step 5

Before you wash your hair, take steam along with this mask. I wrapped a hot towel for 1 minute. Repeat this hot towel method for 3 to 4 times.

Step 6

Rinse off your hair with cold water, follow with   Straightening Shampoo, Straightening Conditioner.

Step 7

Finally blows dry your hair and apply very little oil on your hair which you prefer. Hair appears silky straight and shiny.

How to take care of this straight hair 


Taking care of straight hair is very important to maintain. The hair will be straight for a week if you care it for right way.

• Use a Straightening shampoo for straight hair
• Before shampoo, spray  milk on your hair and comb 3-4 times thoroughly. leave it for 20-minute. 
• Use a conditioner every time you wash your hair
• Oil your hair regularly
• Repeat this mask with 10 to 12 days
• Oil and steam your hair every fifteen days. You can wrap a towel dipped in warm water, around your hair. This will deep condition your hair.

Day 5 after shampoo

You should be very careful before you expose your hair to any chemical treatment. Remember that natural method  is always the best.
